Portfolio Development

Turning Vision into Presence

Success in design admissions depends less on “perfect” work and more on a clear, honest portfolio that shows how you think and create. Through web based materials and, when appropriate, more direct support, we help you select, organize, and refine your projects so your portfolio presents a coherent story of your skills, interests, growth and potential to admissions committees.

If you are thinking about building or refining a portfolio and would like to discuss your plans, we encourage you to contact us.

Thoughtful Application Guidance

Your design school application — like any design project — brings together your preparatory thinking, research, planning and more. It’s most successful when treated as the outcome of that work, not as a separate last minute project.

Through web based resources and, when appropriate, more direct support, we help you shape your application journey: clarifying your goals, identifying and confirming realistic program options, shaping your application materials — portfolios, forms, letters of application, statements of purpose — and preparing thoughtfully for interviews.

If you are already preparing applications or planning ahead and would like guidance on materials and timing, we invite you to reach out.
