Exploring Form and Color: Pucci's Signature Style on Display in Sicily

The Florentine design house, Pucci, has long been known for its bold two-dimensional forms—curves, diagonals, and rhythmic geometries—paired with a distinctive palette that makes the brand immediately recognizable at a glance. Pucci’s recent Spring/Summer 2026 presentation delivered all that and more.

Entitled "L’Alba" (Dawn), the show—directed by Pucci creative director Camille Miceli—was staged in the ancient Grotta dei Cordari (Ropemakers) in Siracusa, on the island of Sicily.

As the publication L'Officiel (USA) described the presentation: "Color is central. Pucci’s signature motifs, reimagined in fiery oranges, saturated reds, and vivid fuchsias, pulse against darker backdrops. Texture adds another layer. Loose, webbed knits lend a bohemian softness, while tailored outerwear sharpens the look into something more urban. Sheer jersey pieces shimmer subtly in metallic finishes, nodding to after-dark glamour, while silk foulards are reworked into dresses and separates that feel spontaneous but polished. Throughout, tactile details—sequins, embroidery, and glints of gold—catch the light like reflections on water."

Anyone interested in how form and color work together—whatever your design focus—will appreciate L’Officiel’s coverage of the event (including an extensive photo gallery) that opens in a new tab here.
